What began as a tasteful idea in 1994 in Palm Springs, California has now become a mouth-watering, nation-wide movement. Native Foods was founded on the premise that tasty meals and natural plant-based ingredients should go hand-in-hand and that environmental sustainability and animal welfare need to be an important element of our mission.

Foodies with a conscience.

At heart, we’re foodies offering a taste-tempting menu of made-from-scratch dishes at reasonable prices. To this food-forward mentality, we add a mix of environmental consciousness and concern for animal welfare. When you sink your teeth into our burgers or dig into our bowls, you may be surprised that our meals are 100% plant-based, with no animal products of any kind. All of our menu items are made-from-scratch with environmentally sustainable, non-GMO ingredients sourced from local producers whenever possible. The principles we were founded on continue to this day and beyond – great food that you can feel great about eating .

We set out to create a new kind of place. A place where our chefs would gather fresh local ingredients and the world’s biggest flavors, to create delicious plant-based dishes that blow past the same-old salad. Where busy people can find comfort in chef-crafted foods that are familiar (but with a twist!) – and discover new favorites. Where the tables are big enough for friends to meet, and dishes are served by kind people in comfortable, welcoming surroundings. Where the food is always good for the Earth, good for you, and great tasting.
